Support Grants for MLA Members

Last year the number of travel grant requests exceeded our raised donations. Help ensure that we can fund all applicants for these grants and support professional development grants that help part-time faculty members pay for career development expenses. Give today to Paving the Way and our travel grant funds. Applications for the next cycle of professional development grants are due by 11 October.

Results of the 2023 Ratification Vote

In balloting that ended on 5 May, MLA members ratified the election of Ōe Kenzaburō, Oh Jung-hee, and Xiao Kaiyu to honorary fellowship in the association. Members also voted to ratify seven amendments to the MLA constitution, which can be found on the MLA website.
