Gates and Mitchell to Receive MLA Awards
|
Henry Louis Gates, Jr., will receive the Phyllis Franklin Award for Public Advocacy of the Humanities, and W. J. T. Mitchell will receive the MLA Award for Lifetime Scholarly Achievement. Frieda Ekotto will present the awards during the MLA Awards Ceremony at MLA 2024.
