MAPS Leadership Institute

Dear ,

We hope you and your colleagues are safe and well. As you begin planning for the fall, we invite you to attend an upcoming online institute for department and program leaders, which will be held from 9 June to 2 July.

So much about your work has changed in the last few months, and the institute will include sessions dedicated to remote leadership and to pressing questions about enrollments and budgets. But we’ll also highlight the important role of public humanities: how can you create connections to the community, how should public-facing work be evaluated, and how do you get this work noticed?

You’ll hear from and talk with a supportive group of chairs from language and humanities departments around the country in small discussions, inspiring plenaries, and hands-on workshops on the full range of challenges facing departmental leaders like you.

To view the program and register, please visit the ADE and ADFL Web sites.

We look forward to welcoming you.
