Evaluating Public Humanities Scholarship

The MLA has released new guidelines to help departments, institutions, and faculty members in languages and literatures evaluate public humanities work. The guidelines affirm the importance of scholarship that reaches beyond the university and that demonstrates the value of the humanities in the world.

Just-in-Time Sessions for MLA 2023

The 2023 MLA Annual Convention will be held in San Francisco from 5 to 8 January. Propose a just-in-time session by 22 September to address something that happened after 1 April—in your field, in higher education, or in the world.
